Setting up WHMCS to work with the Public Report Page

WHMCS includes the header.tpl and footer.tpl file on every request made from an addon module. In order for the public reports page to display properly you will need to do the following so the header and footer can be disabled programmatically.

  • Edit your WHMCS template's header.tpl file
  • At the top of the file add the following:
    • {if $show_header ne "false"}
  • At the bottom of the file add the following:
    • {/if}
  • Edit your WHMCS template's footer.tpl file
  • At the top of the file add the following:
    • {if $show_footer ne "false"}
  • At the bottom of the file add the following:
    • {/if}
Next, in order for the page to display properly, edit the .htaccess file in the root of your WHMCS instance and add the following:
RewriteEngine On

# ServerPing Public Reports
RewriteRule ^monitoring/report/([a-z0-9]+)\.html$ ./index.php?m=serverping&report_id=$1 [L,NC]
